The team comprises four full time teachers and one part-time teacher; they also have a Faculty assistant who provides full administrative support. They are well resourced with a huge variety of books and printed materials, DVDs, digital projectors in each room and a fully equipped computer suite to support study.

Students in Key Stage 3 follow topics such as the Medieval World, Henry VIII and the Civil War, Empire and Slavery, The Industrial Revolution, Work and Trade and the World Wars. It is through through these they cover the History, Geography and RE National Curriculum requirements and they are tested using assessments completed in class. Students will do fieldwork in the local area; regular trips are to Lewes Castle , Southall and Eastbourne Seafront

At Key Stage 4, students will be expected to choose a Humanities subject to study, selecting from Humanities, History, Geography, Sociology, or Citizenship. Students will have a number of formal examinations as well as having to complete some controlled assessments.
