Emergency Closure Procedures

There could be a number of reason why the Academy may close early or not open at all for staff and students. The most common reason would be because of bad weather.

Snow: If there is a significant snowfall overnight our staff will assess the local situation and will make a decision by 7.00am as to whether the Academy will be closed for the day. A text will then be sent out informing parents of the decision

You can also subscribe to an East Sussex alert system that will inform you by mobile or email if we are closed for a reason. It is located on the East Sussex County Council website here.
