Rewards and Standards

The Academy operates a brand new, electronic Rewards System called VIVO, where good work, effort, excellent attendance and punctuality and achievement will be rewarded. These points add up and prizes can be claimed from a wide variety of choices from an on-line "shop". Students can spend their points on prizes as they go along or can save them up for the bigger rewards.

Each year, the Academy runs a Celebration Awards Evening, usually a themed event such as The Oscars.

Year 11 students participate in the Graduation Programme which recognises their efforts in preparing for their final examinations and there is an annual ceremony where they can graduate with merit or distinction, depending on their effort and achievements. Only graduating students are allowed to attend the Year 11 Prom, so graduation is seen as very important by the whole community.

Teva UK Limited

Teva UK Limited is one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the UK who make medicines that help improve lives. They estimate that on average every second, of every day, over 250 tablets or capsules supplied by them are taken by patients all around the UK. They are like the nation's medicine cabinet.
